1) very good

2) Interesting, thought provoking, emotional

3)
1. I wonder if she would like to fly?
2. I was not sure why there was a candle. But I thought there was some meaning, and I wondered about it. I wondered if he could reach it.
3. I thought of war, and perhaps refugees, crossing borders. I wondered if the man was a refuge with a disability and how this would have an impact on his life.
4. I saw half a hidden person. I wondered why she would chose to be half, or perhaps hidden. But she is smiling. So I think she is having fun doing the photography project.
5. First I thought it was a not of a football goal. Then I saw the animal water bottle. I thought he is saying he feels like being in a zoo. Looked at by other people. Or perhaps he feels trapped in a cage.

4) Yes. I can see that the people in the images have an opportunity to express themselves creatively. I learned that I am willing to engage with their stories. After seeing the images I would like to ask more questions.

5) Yes

6)
Hope - 1 and 2, but perhaps in all images all because the people in them are communicating their thoughts and that is hopeful.

Invisibility - 3,4,5 You could be invisible behind cages and barbed-wire. In image number four the person is half hidden, but her smile makes her stand out, the half of her you can see is NOT invisible at all.

Freedom - 1, 2 The wings makes me think of freedom, and the candle.

Barrier - 3, 5 and 2 Because of the barbed-wire, and the cage. Perhaps 2 because I do not know if he can reach the candle.

Captivity 1, 3 and 5 1. Maybe she wants to fly from captivity. 3 and 5 Because of the barbed-wire, and the cage.

7) I think it is beautiful to see the people in the images working togother with the photographer to put their point across.

8) 1

I liked both. I liked seeing the photos without text first. So that I could build my own understanding and questions. After a saw the text I kind of had the answer, so there was perhaps less space for engagement from my side. But the messages might be clearer with the text.
